The downstairs king bedroom
The ground-floor bedroom has a romantic wrought-iron four-poster bed, an en-suite shower room and easy access to the kitchen, snug and garden without a single stair, so it suits older guests and anyone with limited mobility as well as couples who love a four-poster.
A four-poster on the ground floor
The centrepiece of the room is a king-size four-poster bed made from twisted wrought iron, dressed with crisp white linen, a faux-fur throw and velvet cushions. A painting of Glastonbury Tor hangs above the original fireplace, there is a dressing table with mirror and lamp, and the window looks out to the front garden.
As in all the bedrooms, the mattress is a luxury sprung and memory-foam design, you can choose your duvet weight, and each guest has two pillows, three towels, a hair dryer and Elemis toiletries.
En-suite shower room
The en-suite has a large glass-screened walk-in shower, a contemporary basin, a heated towel rail and a window with the same carved oak framing as the rest of the house. It is next to the boot-room entrance, so muddy walkers and wet dogs can be dealt with without tramping through the house.

Accessibility note
Hunter's Moon is a converted 16th-century cottage with steps between some ground-floor levels, including the split-level kitchen. The downstairs bedroom is the best option for guests who find stairs difficult, but please contact us to talk through any specific needs before booking so we can advise honestly.

Weekends, midweek breaks and full weeks available all year. Dogs are welcome downstairs, though not in the bedrooms.
