Restaurants, cafes and takeaways

Hunter's Moon is a short distance from a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, takeaways and supermarkets, from Glastonbury's famously vegetarian cafes to Italian and Thai restaurants in Street that deliver to the door. And if you would rather not go out at all, we can arrange a private chef to cook at the cottage.

Breakfast and lunch in Glastonbury

For a good full English breakfast try The Lazy Gecko on Magdalene Street, opposite the Abbey. Other good breakfast and lunch cafes on the High Street include Rainbow's End, a Glastonbury institution serving vegetarian and vegan food in a cottage garden setting since the 1980s, the Blue Note Cafe with its courtyard and live music, and the Hundred Monkeys, which does excellent brunches, cakes and coffee. Burns the Bread, the town's craft bakery, is the place for pasties and sourdough, and Earthfare organic supermarket has a good cafe upstairs.
