An extraordinary house with 1580 origins
The house personifies the mystical atmosphere that draws so many people to this corner of Somerset. Its organic feel evokes an otherworldly, fairytale air: a mature tree rises through the middle of the building, doors and windows are hand-carved from oak, and stained-glass panels colour the light. With its origins as a tiny cottage whose open fireplace dates back to 1580, it has been opened out and extended over the years into a truly unique place to relax and celebrate.
Hunter's Moon stands in over an acre of private grounds, within woodland and with views across its own stream to open fields. It is designed in keeping with its Glastonbury location: the cottage sits on a ley line within the Glastonbury Zodiac, and the setting is as peaceful as it is beautiful.

The detached house sits in an acre of its own private grounds. A large furnished patio leads to the big, sheltered hot tub, and there are garden tables, sun loungers, a barbecue and a log-fired chiminea for evenings outside. A secluded decking area looks over the garden to the stream, there is an ornamental carp pond with a spirit house, and after dark the midnight wildlife-watching zone with its spotlight often rewards patient guests with badgers.
