Cookie policy
This website uses a small number of cookies. Most are essential for the site or the booking calendar to work; the rest are only set if you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. This page explains what each one does and how to change your choice.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your browser or device. Cookies let a website remember your preferences, keep you logged in, or count visitors. They cannot run programs or carry viruses. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way and are covered by this policy.
The cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cc_choice | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies, so we do not ask again. | Strictly necessary | Until cleared |
| SuperControl booking calendar | Set by secure.supercontrol.co.uk when you use the availability calendar and online booking form on our prices page, to hold your selected dates and booking details while you complete the booking. | Functional | Session |
| Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) | Counts visitors and shows us which pages are used, in anonymised form, so we can improve the site. Only set if you accept cookies and only if analytics is enabled on the site. | Analytical | Up to 2 years |
| YouTube, Matterport and Google Maps | The drone video, 3D tour and map are loaded from third parties only when you scroll to them or press play. They may set their own cookies; we use the privacy-enhanced YouTube domain, which does not set tracking cookies until you play a video. | Third party | Varies |
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the website and booking system to operate and cannot be switched off in our banner. They include the cookie that records your consent choice and the cookies used by our online booking service when you make a booking.
Analytical cookies
To help us monitor the use of the website and the success of our marketing we may use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to collect information about how visitors use the site: the number of visitors, where they have come from and the pages they visit. The information is collected in an anonymous form, with IP addresses truncated, and is used to compile reports that help us improve the site. Google Analytics runs in Consent Mode, so without your consent no analytics cookies are set.
Third-party cookies
Third parties, including our booking system provider, video and map providers and any advertising networks, may set cookies over which we have no control. These are likely to be functional, analytical or targeting cookies. Please refer to the providers' own privacy and cookie policies.
Managing cookies
You can change your choice at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page, which will show the banner again. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings: most browsers let you refuse all cookies, refuse third-party cookies, or delete cookies already stored. If you block all cookies, including essential ones, you may not be able to use the online booking calendar. Guidance for the main browsers is available at aboutcookies.org.uk.
For details of how we handle personal data more generally, see our privacy policy. This policy was last updated in October 2026.
